It's a boy!!!
I can't believe how time flies after you have a baby! He's already five months old, and I'm just starting to feel like myself again. He's the most perfect thing I've ever had a hand in creating and I'm so lucky to be his Mommy!

"Elements"...
I've continued to create more works in my "Elements" series. I now have a small booklet and 2011 calendar available for anyone who would like to have a copy of the whole collection. Inspired by dreams, memories and meditative practice, "Elements" is a series of desert landscapes that celebrate the exquisite beauty, raw power, and extreme phenomenons that occur within nature. The windswept textures and light-bending metallic earth tones give these paintings on canvas a dreamlike quality. You are warmly invites to explore the whole collection of desert elements as expressed through my hands, mind, heart and soul.

Exhibitions and Opportunities

This fall I've been showing quite a bit, but things will be slowing down over the holidays. Tonight I have a lovely reception to attend at Corporate Center with A.R.T. Evolution! Part of the proceeds go to the Odyssey Foundation who is connected to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, so you can just image what a nice reception this will be! Yum! Hope to see you all there!

I'm proud to announce that Gaia has chosen to represent me on an on-going basis at their flower and gift boutique in the Arts District. I will be there tomorrow (First Friday) so if you can't make it tonight, maybe I'll see you on Friday!

My Red Rock Canyon greeting cards are still being carried by the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center and selling well. The new Visitor Center is complete and looking great. I encourage you to stop by sometime. I have also been selling my cards at Desert Rock Sports, a great place for outdoor gear or guide services.

I still have four Art Watches left. They make a great gift for the holidays.

Events and charitable contributions
2010 remains to be a good year for giving. In appreciation for all the good fortune that has come my way, I have amped up my contributions allowance this year. As always I donate to environmental causes and plan to donate next month to Project Aware, The Tortoise Group, and the Nature Conservancy.

Last September, I participated in the "Bite at the Museum" Gala and fundraiser for Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada. It was a lovely evening at the Springs Preserve and one of my original paintings was auctioned off to a generous supporter.

In August, I helped Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef celebrate their 10th anniversary party with a few other members of the Vegas Artists Guild. We demonstrated our painting skills for hundreds of curious children and adults.

My contributions are based on sales, so the more I sell, the more I can contribute. I am predicting this my most charitable year yet!

Connections
Staying connected just seems to get easier and easier. Please take the time to connect with me on Twitter and Facebook. Two great and fun ways to check in on what I'm up to at any given moment.

As always, thank you all for allowing me to share my journey with you.
