NOTE: Art Center is closed until further notice due to building issues. Bonnie
Kelso and Teresa Testa Open Tuesday - Saturday, 12 - 6pm. For all of you who frequent Las Vegas or are locals, I encourage you to visit the new Art Center at Neonopolis. As some of you may already know the second floor of the Neonopolis complex on Fremont Street is being converted into a museum and artist run retail gallery/studio spaces. The project is being modeled after the highly successful Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Perhaps many of you know, I lived in Alexandria for 20 years and am a graduate of Mount Vernon High School. I was a member of the Art League Gallery and School at the Torpedo Factory for many years as I developed my skills as an artist. I am tickled to be a part of this new project at the Neonopolis. The goals of the Art Center at Neonopolis are similar. In the future we will be hosting artist workshops, classes, and special events. We will have a strong community outreach program as well which will engage school children from all over the valley. Our grand opening event is to be announced soon, but as of Nov 4th, we are open to the public. So please come by and visit us at the Art Center at Neonopolis on the second floor of the Neonopolis on historic Fremont Street. There will be painters, sculptors, photographers, and jewelry makers represented. In fact, you'll probably see me as you come out of the elevator. I'll be sharing the gallery directly in front of the elevators with popular local ceramicist, Teresa Testa. The Neonopolis is
on the corner of Fremont and 4th, just east of the Fremont Street Experience
canopy. Please call for more information or to schedule an appointment.
