The story behind the artwork

Violet 2 is the second in a series of four botanicals. One of my favorite flowers, the wild violet. Though small and often overlooked, the violet captures a unique color of nature, given to us only in small powerful doses. My series is an emotional response to the flower as well as the color itself.

This improvisational series of violets marks the begining of my Studio Studio Series. I'm excited to be able to offer original artwork at a much lower price through this series. They are only available through my website or from my gallery at the Neonopolis.
