The story behind the artwork

This bulb is seen in transformation. It has fleshy folds growing from it's meaty center. It could be the growth of a bulb in a flower garden or it could be the creature growing inside a clamshell. I often use cross references in my work to strike curiosity in the viewer. It always interests me to hear what people see in my work. I believe how we interpret the unusual tells us a lot about ourselves as individuals.
